Hello everyone! Hopefully, you are enjoying warmer weather, having a fabulous summer, beginning some new stitching projects, and adding some “gotta haves” to your list.

I'm happy to say that the Glendon Place 2008 Halloween designs are finally here! It took me a couple of weeks longer than I anticipated, but that's because I wanted them to be just right! I hope you will agree that it was worth the wait and that one or more of these will make it to your special project list.

From a designing perspective, Halloween is without a doubt my favorite holiday. I have so much fun transforming the ideas in my head to drawings on paper and watching them come to life when I begin to work with all the rich colors of the fall season. Plus, I can't wait to sit down and stitch them once their graphed out. Believe it or not, I stitch all my own models. Not only do I thoroughly enjoy doing it, but it gives me an opportunity to make those important “tweaks” as I go along, resulting in a finished product that I can be proud of and one that you will love stitching as well.

Wow! This chart pack comes with two designs in one! Isn't it amazing how you can change the fabric, change the colors, make a couple of tweaks and it results in a completely different look? And just about every ghoul you can think of has jumped into line to shake their "BOO-ty". Both versions stitched in full stitches, using 2 stands of floss over 2 threads of fabric.

Version 1 is in full color and the model is presented matted and framed.

Version 2 has the same familiar characters of Version 1, but the model is presented in a black silhouette with a purple checkered border and made into a pillow.

I just absolutely love this fabric! Don't let the size scare you, because this one stitches up fast with full stitches and only 3 colors of floss! Check with your local independent needlework shop for pillow finishing services, or frame your piece if you wish. Either way, it will look great!
